Fleming Job Connect launches annual Summer Jobs Service program

Looking for a summer job? Fleming Job Connect Student Centre is now open for 2009Fleming Job Connect has launched its annual Summer Jobs Service Program for students in the City of Kawartha Lakes.The Summer Jobs Service program is a free service offered to college, university and secondary school students aged 15 to 24 years (up to 29 years for persons with disabilities) who are planning to return to school in the fall.A variety of services are available to assist students in their summer job search such as resume and cover letter writing workshops, free Internet, computer and fax access, job search support, and referrals to employers in the local community who are hiring.Some of the employment opportunities last year included: kitchen crew, general labourers, cashiers, cooks, bus boy/girl, tech support, hostess, deck hand, childcare worker, hockey instructor/counsellor, housekeeper, electronics assembler, landscaper, office clerk and many more.For more information on how you can register for this free service, please visit Fleming Job Connect, located at the Frost Campus of Fleming College in room 289, 200 Albert St. S.
