Celebrating Holidays Around the World Tea & Bazaar

Fleming College is inviting the community to the Sutherland Campus on Saturday, Nov. 16 for a special event to support international and new Canadian students at the college.

Celebrating Holidays Around the World Tea and Bazaar is an event to participate, celebrate and support multiculturalism in Peterborough.

The Tea and Bazaar will feature a multicultural shopping experience, live entertainment and traditional holiday treats prepared by students and faculty of Fleming College’s culinary programs.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5 and parking is free. The Sutherland Campus is located at 599 Brealey Dr. in Peterborough.

Net proceeds from the event will go toward financial assistance for international and new Canadian students at Fleming.

Located in the heart of Central Ontario, Fleming College has campus locations in Peterborough, Lindsay, Cobourg and Haliburton. Named for famous Canadian inventor and engineer Sir Sandford Fleming, the college features more than 100 full-time programs in Community Development and Health, Continuing Education, Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences, Justice and Business, Skilled Trades and Technology, General Arts and Science and Visual Arts. Fleming College has more than 5,900 full-time and 10,000 part-time students, and more than 65,000 alumni.
