Start your education in January with new programs
Fleming College will offer two new programs to students starting college in January.Office Administration – Compressed and Electrical Techniques will be offered at the Sutherland Campus beginning in January 2009. Fleming College offers more than 40 full-time programs with January start dates.The new Office Administration – Compressed program allows students the opportunity to develop administrative and professional skills while working with the latest computer technology and networking with professionals in the field. The compressed aspect of the program allows students to graduate with an Ontario College Certificate in just 26 weeks.Electrical Techniques is a two-semester certificate program currently offered with a September start date. Due to the high demand for the program, Fleming College will now offer Electrical Techniques with an additional January start date.Students in this program learn network cabling and electrical system installation along with instruction in math, prints and installations, and safety and trade calculations to ensure graduates meet employers’ qualifications.Both programs will be highlighted at Fleming College’s upcoming Fall Open House on Saturday, November 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all campuses.
