P.E.A.K. Leadership Program: Improve your leadership performance

Published

Take your career to new heights with Fleming College’s P.E.A.K. Leadership program. (Positive. Effective. Applied. Knowledgeable.)

Whether you are new to a leadership position or have been in the role for some time, the P.E.A.K. Leadership program is uniquely designed to propel you to a higher level in leadership performance.

The program features applied projects, peer-to-peer learning, highly experienced facilitators, and in-depth coaching. Content includes communications, ethics, performance management, change management, teambuilding, planning, and project management.

“My first line supervisors have been long-time employees that have been promoted from the shop floor. Over the past year I have witnessed their personal transformation from basic supervisors to confident leaders and problem solvers,” says Tim Barrie, President, Merit Precision of the P.E.A.K. Leadership Training.

A key component of P.E.A.K. Leadership is the coaching process throughout the program, which will support each participant in achieving a specific personal or professional goal. It will provide positive support, feedback and advice and help embed the learning taking place in the program. This is a proven effective way to develop valuable leadership competencies such as adaptability, self-awareness, collaboration and network thinking.

Participants will:

– Approach issues and problems more creatively;
– Listen and communicate effectively;
– Engender trust and lead by example;
– Create positive working environments;
– Overcome ‘analysis paralysis;’
– Effectively support the change process
– Apply effective thinking skills.
