Published

Fleming College’s Frost Campus will host a unique 100-mile dining experience in support of student financial assistance and the United Way for City of Kawartha Lakes.

On Monday, Oct. 5 the Frost Campus Friends Committee will serve up Fleming’s Moveable Feast, featuring an array of appetizers, soups, salads, and chili.

All ingredients are locally sourced with 50% of the ingredients coming from the Sustainable Agriculture Program’s on-site gardens. Students will be on hand at the event to talk about the program and their recent co-op experiences.

The event takes place from 5-7:30 p.m. at the campus, 200 Albert St. S. in Lindsay. A cash bar will available in the Auk’s Lodge starting at 6 p.m., and live and silent auctions will also take place during the event. Tickets are $35 per person, and are available by visiting www.flemingcollege.ca/MoveableFeast.

Fleming’s Moveable Feast is being held in conjunction with the United Way for City of Kawartha Lakes’ series of local dining events, Feastable. Net proceeds from the dinner will support United Way for City of Kawartha Lakes and student financial assistance at Fleming College’s Frost Campus.
