Fleming College Will Shine a Light in Nation-Wide Disability Employment Awareness Event

Published

Fleming College will shine with bright blue and purple lighting on October 19 during the fourth annual Light It Up! For NDEAM® (National Disability Employment Awareness Month).

Light It Up! For NDEAM®  is a one-night, nationwide event that celebrates the many ways people with a disability contribute to businesses and their communities.

Fleming is inviting local businesses and organizations to join as we light up our three campuses, the Muskoka-Kawarthas Employment Services (MKES) office and 16 employment service providers, in blue and purple lighting on October 19.

“We encourage everyone to Light It Up! on October 19 as we put a spotlight on the value of collaboration, inclusiveness and creating a welcoming community for all,” said Fleming College President Maureen Adamson. “As an active partner in all our campus communities, Fleming and Muskoka-Kawarthas Employment Services are committed to meeting the needs of all students, graduates, job seekers and employers.”
