Trades & Technology Part-time Faculty Job Fair at Fleming College

Published

Fleming College’s School of Trades and Technology is holding a job fair for prospective part-time faculty on Thursday, April 14, 2016.

The Trades & Technology Part-time Faculty Job Fair starts at 5 p.m. at the Sutherland Campus, 599 Brealey Drive in Peterborough.

The event kicks off with a networking meet and greet, where attendees can speak directly with Dean Maxine Mann, Chair Hossein Ahari and current faculty. The evening also includes an opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art Kawartha Trades and Technology Centre and gain information about working at Fleming College.

Guests who bring their own personal protective equipment (PPE) can also explore classrooms, shops and labs. All those planning to attend are asked to pre-register for the event at: flemingcollege.ca/careers.

“We were overwhelmed by the response to last year’s job fair which led to the successful hiring of many new part-time faculty. We are thrilled to be hosting this event again, not only to recruit qualified new Fleming faculty, but to also allow prospective employees to experience our unique learning facility, and determine for themselves if Fleming College is the right fit,” Mann said.

The School of Trades and Technology is recruiting faculty for Carpentry, Computer Engineering, Construction Engineering, Electrical, Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Instrumentation and Control, Plumbing, Welding, Wireless Information Networking and Health and Safety.

The School of Trades and Technology features popular programs and growing enrolment. Fleming College is seeking certified skilled trades professionals to help train tomorrow’s best and brightest in the industry.
