Fleming College Now Accepting 2012 Premier’s Award Nominations
The Advancement and Alumni Relations Office at Fleming College is now accepting nominations for the prestigious 2012 Premier’s Award for outstanding college graduates.
Presented annually by Colleges Ontario, the Premier’s Awards honour six outstanding graduates in the following categories:
- Business
- Community Services
- Creative Arts and Design
- Health Sciences
- Technology
- Recent Graduate
The awards celebrate graduate career success and honour the social and economic contribution that college graduates make to Ontario and around the world. Nominees must demonstrate outstanding achievements related to their college experience as well as significant contribution to their community. Any graduate of a Fleming college program may be nominated.
If you know of a Fleming College graduate who is deserving of a Premier’s Award, please download a nomination package from the College’s website at http://www.flemingcollege.ca/PDF/Premiers-Award-Nomination-Form-2012.pdf or contact Paula Walton at 705-749-5530 ext 1390 / paulaw@flemingc.on.ca. The deadline to submit a Premier’s Award nomination package is May 17, 2012.
Following the deadline, staff and volunteers at Fleming College will review the nominations and select a finalist for each category. Award finalists will be invited to attend the Premier’s Awards Gala on Monday, November 26, 2012 in Toronto where Colleges Ontario will announce the Premier’s Award winners.
This November marks the 20th year of Premier’s Award celebrations.
