Continuing Education Fosters Career Success in 2012

New courses and certificate programs at Fleming College are providing individuals with an opportunity to advance their skills or explore pathways to new career.

Starting this January, Fleming is offering new certificate programs for expanding industries including Photographic Studies and Solar Design & Installation Training.  The college also provides certificate programs in Human Resources Management, Records Management, Writing for Professionals, Conference and Event Planning, Fundraising Management and Sustainable Trails.

In addition, individuals seeking professional, personal and career development can choose credit courses in areas such as skilled trades, social media, environment and natural resources, languages, photography, fine arts and computer programs. Most winter courses start January 13th.

Access to many of Fleming’s credit courses and certificate programs is convenient through online learning. Completing a course online allows students to plan their study time around work and family and, in many cases, students can work at their own pace. It also assists individuals who are unable to commute to classes held on campus. Fleming College offers over 1,000 online courses.
