College Information Program visits Frost Campus

The College Information Program – a travelling road show of Ontario colleges – will visit Fleming College’s Frost Campus on Monday, October 20.Twenty-three of Ontario’s community colleges, including Fleming, will have information displays set up throughout the campus to provide high school students with the many options available to them within college programs.About 850 students from 17 high schools are expected at the event, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the campus, 200 Albert St. S. in Lindsay. The visiting colleges will be located on the main level of the campus and will be organized in alphabetical order. Fleming College’s program displays will be located in the Environmental Technology Wing of the campus.Campus and residence tours will take place between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. There will be information sessions on financial aid options, career service resources, pathways to university, and sports and recreation at Fleming College.For teachers and guidance counsellors, Fleming will host a session on the college’s new programs and initiatives for January and September 2009.     – 30 -For more information: Laura Copeland, Communications Officer, 705-749-5530 x 1370 or copeland@flemingc.on.ca
