Celebrating Alumni Appreciation Week

Fleming College will celebrate Alumni Appreciation Week in both the City of Peterborough and the City of Kawartha Lakes February 14-18, 2011.

Formal celebrations will kick off in the City of Kawartha Lakes on Monday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. in the Victoria Room of City of City Hall, 26 Francis St. in Lindsay. An additional kick-off celebration in Peterborough will take place that day at the OFAH/Mario Cortellucci Hunting & Fishing Heritage Centre, 4601 Guthrie Dr. at 1 p.m. All Fleming College alumni are welcome.

A number of events will be taking place throughout the week in Peterborough and Lindsay including the very popular “Fleming Night at the Petes.” The Peterborough Petes, in partnership with Fleming College, dedicate this upcoming game on Feb. 17 in appreciation of Fleming students, staff, faculty and alumni. Watch the Petes take on the Kingston Frontenacs with your Fleming College family.

Tickets are on sale at the Sutherland and Frost campus bookstores, or they can be ordered through the Fleming College Alumni Association.

Your $10 ticket includes:
• Fleming gift before the game
• Entry into draw for future Petes club seats and merchandise
• Entry into draw to go onto the ice for Fleming’s 1st intermission contest
• Chance to win Fleming prizes throughout the game

Fleming College will also be recognized throughout the game including:
• PA announcement welcoming Fleming College students, staff and alumni
• Recent Fleming graduate Amanda Middleton singing the national anthem
• Ceremonial Puck drop
• Opportunity to connect with other alumni and to purchase your exclusive alumni scarf

Last year more than 600 students, staff and alumni attended Fleming Night at the Petes.  Reserve your seats today, they are going fast!
