8th Annual Cobourg Campus Souper Bowl

Published

The annual Cobourg Campus Souper Bowl is back for its 8th year, raising funds for the Northumberland United Way.

Staff at Fleming College will host the Souper Bowl lunch and bake sale on Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the campus in the Fleming Building, 1005 Elgin St. W. in Cobourg (3rd floor).

The campus is partnering with both the Help Centre and the Community Living West Northumberland to raise a goal of $1,750. This event is also supported by donations from both the Dutch Oven in Cobourg and Aramark food services of Fleming College.

For $10 participants can enjoy a bottomless bowl of steaming hot soup – with many varieties of soup and chili to choose from, including vegan and vegetarian – a roll with butter, and a bottle of water. The delicious soups and chilis are generously made and donated by students and staff of Fleming, the Help Centre, Community Living West and the United Way.  And the bake sale table will once again be overflowing with delectable desserts.

All members of the public are invited and welcome to come to the campus and participate in this delicious fundraiser.

Located in the heart of Central Ontario, Fleming College has campus locations in Peterborough, Lindsay, Cobourg and Haliburton.
