Course Description: This course is suitable for those 15 years and up. Develop your acrylic painting skills in this beginner?s course. Learn about the colour wheel, basics of colour mixing with a limited palette and different ways to apply paint. You will have the opportunity to experiment with various tools, discover simple yet effective ways of utilizing paint while paying attention to how your body feels. Through instruction, playful experimentation and conversation, you will start to really see what is in front of you and find ways to enjoy the creative process. A $40 material fee payable to the instructor will be needed on your first day of class

Course Description: This course offers a complete introduction to painting with acrylics. Learn composition, colour theory and brushwork through a variety of subject matter. You will be introduced to new techniques through each project with plenty of time to paint each day. Learn about acrylics through a mixture of traditional methods along with abstract realism. Find you voice through painting. A $100 material fee payable to the instructor will be needed on your first day of class
