Gain an understanding of the purpose, operation, and maintenance requirements of sand filters, gravel filters and recirculating gravel filters. Describe subsurface infiltration systems and how they work. Learn how to monitor and control subsurface leaching systems, seepage beds and pits, to operate and maintain absorption mounds, and evapotranspiration systems, and to perform your duties safely.
