Faux Stained Glass Vases Workshop

Using tissue paper as your paint and a glass vase as your canvas, you will create your own faux stained-glass vase. A simple tea light placed inside your vase will reflect the colours' shadows onto its surroundings. As in collage, you will work on sketching your design on paper first, choosing and cutting your tissue paper colours and patterns, then apply the tissue onto your vase. Your design will begin to unfold onto the glass. All materials will be provided by the instructor with each student receiving one glass vase. You are encouraged to bring your own additional unique glass vase(s) and/or jar(s) to work on should you finish the glass vase provided by the instructor.
A $10 material fee payable to the instructor will be needed on your first day of class
