When does Fleming begin delivering Real Estate Salesperson and Real Estate Broker programs?

The programs are rolling acceptance, meaning you can begin at any point because it is fully online.

How do I get started on MyWeb?

Are the programs offered online?

Yes, the programs are available in a flexible format, in-person or online options are available.

Can I apply to be an instructor?

We are not currently in the process of hiring instructors for the real estate education programs, but please monitor the Fleming careers website for possible future opportunities.

Is the program OSAP-eligible?

The program is not eligible for OSAP as it does not receive any direct provincial funding.

Can I transfer to Fleming College to complete my real estate education?

Learners are eligible to transfer between designate institutions beginning on July 1, 2025 to complete the Real Estate Salesperson Program and the Real Estate Broker Program as long as they have not exceeded the maximum program completion dates and have no active sanctions from RECO. Learners should also contact their current designate to learn about the process to transfer out of that institution to Fleming, including how to share proof of course completion and any required accommodations.

Learners who have received an Educational Equivalency Assessment (EEA) decision from RECO are not eligible to transfer between designate institutions.

What are the system requirements for these programs?
  1. Please review Fleming's Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) User Standard 107 (US-107), section 2 "BYOD System Requirements", which list the technical hardware and software specifications.
  2. Ensure your browser setup is compatible with D2L by completing a D2L System Check.
  3. Ensure your browser setup is compatible with Meazure Learning, which will be used for online exams.

Real Estate Salesperson Program FAQs

How long does the Real Estate Salesperson program course run for?

The course can be completed at your own pace but must be completed within two years. On average, people complete the entire program in six to nine months. There are five courses, two simulation sessions, and six exams.

Real Estate Broker Program FAQs

What is the Real Estate Broker Program?

The Real Estate Broker Program is for real estate agents who have been active in the industry and aspire to continue their education to become a real estate broker. The program covers key aspects involved in owning, managing, or operating a real estate brokerage, such as:

  • Opening a brokerage
  • The responsibilities of a broker of record
  • The business and administrative aspects involved in running a brokerage
  • Examining relevant parts of the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 (TRESA) from the perspective of a broker and brokerage compliance.

It is open to all existing registered real estate salespeople.

How long does the Real Estate Broker program course run for?

The Real Estate Broker Program can be completed in 12 months.
