President’s Welcome

With your help, we will discover much about ourselves, our students, our communities and how we can unlock new opportunities to help the new Fleming College stand out as an exceptional community college. I encourage you to attend a session, participate in online sessions, provide your feedback in person or online and attend our upcoming speakers series. I invite you to be part of true participatory change. We will keep you updated on our progress and look forward to working with you as we shape the future of the college together.

Thought Leaders’ Speaker Series

Ken Steele

We were pleased to welcome Ken Steele as our first thought leader. More than 25,000 higher education professionals across Canada and the United States have come to rely on Ken Steele as a definitive source of breaking news, bright ideas and insight into student trends, technological innovation, strategic planning, branding, and recruitment marketing.

Thought Leaders’ Speaker Series

As Fleming College embarks on its journey to develop a new Strategic Plan, President Maureen Adamson is hosting a series of educational and inspirational "Thought Leaders" seminars for students, employees, alumni, employers, and community members.

We are pleased to welcome Sheldon Levy, Special Advisor to the Minister of Small Business and Export Promotion and former CEO of Next Canada, a non-profit business accelerator in Toronto. From 2015 to 2017, Sheldon served as Deputy Minister of the Ontario Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development, and from 2005 to 2015, he was President and Vice-Chancellor of Ryerson University. In his Thought Leaders presentation, we will explore key trends that are impacting the very nature of work and the implications of what is to come.
