Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Business Administration
Start Dates:
September 2023
January 2024
Open the door to a career in business management. This applied learning experience leads you directly to Business Degree programs around the world.
Program Highlights
Start here to acquire core business skills and knowledge. You can then choose to go on to complete a Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Commerce in as little as one to two years in the United States, Australia, Ireland, or right here in Peterborough.
Core fundamentals are augmented through applied project-based learning. Learn the “how-to” of business functions including finance and accounting, human resources management, operations management, logistics, marketing, sales, international trade, international business, economics, law and more. Graduate with the skills and knowledge that lead to employment.
Understand the global issues that inform decision making in today’s business environment. Be part of the international sustainability evolution driven by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Benefit from our team-based management skills focus, leading-edge business simulation software and Ivey School of Business case study methodology. With a final year of hands-on experience in our award-winning Applied Projects program, become one of the young, in-demand business leaders.
Be part of something bigger than yourself and create a career with meaning: form partnerships with classmates that will last a lifetime; try out your ideas on a professor committed to your development; experiment and take chances in our supportive classrooms and build a community of life-long learning and success with the relationships you create on our Enactus team.
* Students starting in January are required to attend classes over the summer semester.
Work Experience
You will gain direct, hands-on experience during two semesters of Applied Project-based learning. You will be encouraged to consider entrepreneurship and the pursuit of your dreams.
Choose the type of business or industry you want to work in, and your coordinator will help you make it happen.
Prove yourself and become part of the network of faculty and past-grads who will create opportunities for you. There is a lot more than a diploma waiting for you here at Fleming.
Career Opportunities
With your solid business background, you can consider a broad range of options.
Our graduates have rewarding careers in Entrepreneurship, Small Business Management, Sales and Sales Management, Marketing and Media Management, Supply Chain Management and Logistics, Financial Management, Banking, Insurance, Investment Management, Real Estate, Municipal Administration, Project Management, Retail Management, Non-profit Administration, and numerous forms of Social Enterprise.
Great careers await you. – Our proof? Fleming College’s President is a graduate of our program and went on to earn a BAA from Lakehead University and an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Business.
“You show up and do the work. Take a chance. Take a risk. We will do everything in our power to make it happen for you.”
Les Smith, Program Coordinator
