New Continuing Education courses

Train for a new career or try out a fun course this fall through Fleming College Continuing Education.

New career programs include Private Investigator Training, which offers instruction in surveillance, record keeping, and asset protection. And Fleming College will once again offer the Public Safety Communications Professional program, a 12-week compressed program that prepares students for a career in police, fire and ambulance dispatching.

For anyone interested in building on their current skill set, there are many additional career-related courses in areas such as business, computers, nursing, esthetics and outdoor skills.

Raising Chickens for Meat and Eggs and Local Food Systems and Sustainability are two new courses offered through the Frost Campus in Lindsay and the Cobourg Campus has a variety of new photography courses to choose from. The campus will also offer a line-up of social media courses. As part of its Continuing Education program, Haliburton Campus will offer Ballroom Dancing as well as French and Spanish language courses.

Continuing Education at Fleming has added to its online learning line-up with a number of new writing courses – everything from Grammar for Writing Professionals to Documentary Scriptwriting to Romance Writing.

In total, Fleming College is offering more than 1,000 online courses and certificate programs in all areas of study that allow students to learn anytime and anywhere.
