Fleming College Innovation and Technology Showcase Award Winners

Peterborough ON – (April 2, 2019) – Congratulations to students who received awards at the Fleming College Innovation and Technology Showcase in partnership with Bell.

The event, held Friday, March 29 at Fleming’s Kawartha Trades and Technology Centre, showcased 60 applied projects completed by students in the School of Business and the School of Trades and Technology.

Here is a full list of the award winners:

Bell Innovation Award                                                  

The Bell Innovation Award is intended for project teams that have demonstrated a high level of creativity, resourcefulness and innovation in order to meet the requirements of their client and satisfy project objectives. This award has a third, second, and first place winner from School of Business and School of Trades and Technology.                                                      

School of Trades and Technology

1. Remote Robotic Hand Prototype: Miteshkumar Patel, MuthyalaSheshan Siga (Wireless Information Networking)


2. The Kawartha Learning Centre Custom Telephone Answering System: Ankur Dave, Ishit Gajjar, RahulParagkumar Shah, Rutvikkumar Thakar

Bell Presentation Award                                                              

The Bell Presentation Award is intended for project teams that have demonstrated highly effective communication and presentation skills as they showcase their projects. This award has a third, second, and first place winner from School of Business and School of Trades and Technology.

The SAC Award                                                                

The SAC Award is given to the team that demonstrates the most collaboration with Fleming College and the Greater Peterborough Community. SAC is committed to the ongoing support of students at Fleming College and its strong connection with innovation within our community.
