Set Up For Success Workshops
January 11 - 14
The Tutoring & Academic Skills Centre in partnership with the Library, and Student Experience, is offering a series of workshops created to prepare students for success by providing a foundation of proven skills and strategies to support development as a learner at Fleming.
Students attending this series may also qualify for Co-curricular Record (CCR) recognition. To request CCR recognition, students will be asked to complete a post-series request form. A link to the form will provided during each session.
Students are invited to attend any or all of the workshops by clicking on the WebEx Event link associated with the workshop at the time of the session. All sessions will be recorded and available through this page afterwards.

Discover our best tips and get some valuable demonstrations of the main online platforms and digital tools used at Fleming. This workshop will be divided into two sessions: Navigating D2L at 1pm, where we’ll demonstrate how to use this Learning Management software to navigate through your course. At 2pm an introduction to WebEx, where we’ll highlight how to utilize this platform for your online lectures and remote meetings.

Mixed Company Theatre presents "Mixed Messages"

Thursday, Jan. 14th 1:00 pm to 2:15 pm
This "forum theatre" event addresses the topic of sexual violence and consent, and asks audience members to provide alternate resolutions to problems presented in scenes performed by actors. This engaging program will be eligible for Co-Curricular Record (CCR) as 'Sexual Violence Prevention Level 2: Bystander Intervention'. All new students are welcome, but spaces are limited and admission to the event will be on a first-come basis. No registration required.
