Berniece Hayes Memorial Student Bursary

This fund was established by the Donor in 2014 to assist Sir Sandford Fleming College students.

1965 was the year that Berniece Hayes first joined Fleming College, working in various part-time positions. Berniece was proud to be part of the formative years of Fleming College. In 1973 Berniece moved into the role of Budget Officer, a position that she enjoyed until her retirement in 1994. Berniece enjoyed her years at Fleming College and was a respected and valued member of the College Community. She made lifelong friendships within the College. Berniece's time with Fleming did not come to an end when she retired. Berniece was an active executive member of the Fleming College Retirees Association and College Archives group. Berniece would be proud to know that a bursary has been established to assist students at Fleming College- a place she so enjoyed and respected.

Awarded to a full-time returning student at the Sutherland Campus with a GPA of 3.6 or higher that has graduated from a Peterborough High School and demonstrates financial need.

By completing this application, you will be considered for all college-administered bursaries and scholarships for which you are eligible. To apply, log into myCampus (the student portal), and go to the Student Centre section. The Apply Now! button will open the on-line application as long as you have a valid SIN on file. If you do not have a valid SIN on file, you are required to provide proof of SIN (any government issued document with your name and SIN) and government issued photo-id at the Registrar's Office so your record may be updated. Please note that bursary applications will not be evaluated until after the application deadline date.
