Faculty: Stanzie Tooth
Stanzie Tooth ?s paintings are rooted in the forests of southern Ontario where she was raised. Her accumulated bodies of work riff on the art historical landscape, while in search of one that reflects a bodily, and intersectional experience. Tooth holds a BFA from OCAD University and an MFA with distinction from the University of Ottawa. Stanzie was the 2015 recipient of the Joseph Plasket Award for Painting, supporting residencies in Berlin, Iceland, Greece and Italy. She has been acknowledged for her work by Canadian Art Magazine, The Toronto Star, and Now Magazine.
