Faculty: Rachel Tanner
Rachel Tanner, Bachelor of Social Work, wholeheartedly believes in the power of using the arts to gain insight and understanding and build relationships, which is evident in the enthusiasm she brings to her role as an Expressive Arts Guide. She celebrates and shares the creative process in her work with children and adults of all ages and abilities, their families, those with mental health concerns, in her community, and in her pottery studio, where she often invites others to join her to create with clay. Her practice is rooted in the belief that creative experiences be inclusive and accessible to all. In addition to being an Expressive Arts Guide, Rachel has a vibrant independent facilitation private practice. In 2019, Rachel and Wendy Newbery partnered to form Stepping Stones Expressive Arts, offering diverse expressive arts experiences to individuals and groups.
