Matthew Mancini
Matthew Mancini is a Toronto born contemporary realist painter. He has earned a B.A from OCADU in Visual and Critical Studies, a diploma at the Academy of Realist Art (formerly Michael John Angel Studios), and is currently undergoing Graduate studies in Art History at the University of Toronto. His work?focused on the portrait, the figure, and the landscape?seeks to combine elements of naturalism with the effects of painterly abstraction. In addition to participating in numerous group and solo exhibitions domestically and internationally, he is a published writer, art conservation assistant, and long-time art instructor in both public and private domains.
