Mary Pal,
Mary Pal is a Canadian fibre artist best known for her cheesecloth portraits and landscapes. Her work has been exhibited internationally, published in numerous books and magazines, and included in many private collections. With over 40 years of teaching experience, she is a sought-after and popular instructor who enjoys sharing her knowledge and skills with her students around the world, either across Canada and the US or in such distant destinations as Brazil, China, UK, New Zealand and Taiwan. A past Director on the Board of the international organization, Studio Art Quilt Associates, and a current member of Contemporary Textile Studio Co-operative in Toronto, Mary is an enthusiastic promoter of the growing fibre art movement.
