Faculty: Kate Carder-Thompson
Kate Carder-Thompson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Practice from Western University. She has exhibited her work at various public galleries in Ontario, including the McIntosh Gallery in London and the Agnes Jamieson Gallery in Minden. Kate is a part-time faculty member at the Haliburton School of Art + Design, teaching in the Ceramics, Fibres, Painting & Drawing, and VCAD programs. Her recent artistic practice explores the urge to preserve and cushion objects against the passage of time.
