Fleming College

Julie Moon is a Toronto based ceramic artist. Her practice is rooted in art and sculpture, but also spends time developing commercial work that includes pottery and accessories. She is a graduate from OCADU in Toronto and received her MFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 2010. Since completing her studies, Julie has participated in numerous artist residency programs, a few of which include The Ceramic Art Center in Berlin, Anderson Ranch Art Center, Archie Bray Foundation and a four-year residency at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia. She has exhibited widely across the US and Canada, a few venues include the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art, MASS Gallery in Austin, Texas, ART Toronto, The Philadelphia Art Fair, Society for Contemporary Craft and the Northern Clay Center in Minneapolis, MN. She is represented in Canada by Birch Contemporary in Toronto. www.juliemoon.com
