Jamie Richards

Jamie Richards is a Toronto-born artist and game developer with over 20 years of professional and teaching experience. As the son of Canadian artist Phil Richards, Jamie grew up in an unusually creative home environment where he developed a passion for drawing, painting and sculpture. After completing a degree in Classics at the University of Toronto, Jamie pivoted and earned a diploma in computer graphics and animation from Centennial College. Since then, he has worked in the fields of special effects, digital animation, graphic design and video game development, both as a studio professional and educator. He currently teaches game art at George Brown College in Toronto and Durham College in Oshawa and works as a traditional painter and sculptor out of his home in Omemee, Ontario.
