Hannah Strand

Hannah Strand is a visual artist, Expressive Arts practitioner, and educator. As well as being a certified Montessori teacher, she is an award-winning graduate of the Haliburton School of Art + Design, enjoying their Visual and Creative Arts, Fibre Arts, and Expressive Arts Graduate programs. Hannah combines the Montessori approach with the exploratory aspect of Expressive Arts to create unique programs focusing on immersive learning experiences, process over product, and bringing each student's imaginings to life. In her own creative practice, Hannah uses a variety of fibre arts and mixed media techniques in meditative, intuitive and whimsical ways to craft pieces, focusing on our connection to the universe and each other.
