Brenda Benedet

Brenda Benedet is a fibre artist creating wool felted paintings. Her powerful connection to the tactile nature of fibre, colour, texture and unexpected realism fuels her creativity. Inspired by sunsets, flora, and fauna surrounding her home on Four Mile Lake in the Kawarthas, Brenda is also known for her hyper-realistic pet portraits. With a background is adult education, Brenda is known for her inspired story-telling teaching style, taking students on a creative, and interactive learning journey with wool fibre. Her work has been shown four years running at the Outdoor Gallery on the Miskwaa and includes a solo exhibition at Colborne Street Gallery, Fenelon Falls Ontario, Breast in Show and Kawartha Woodland Creatures.
