Campus Closure Notice: February 12

Due to the anticipated heavy snowfall expected this evening, all in-person classes at Sutherland, Frost, and Haliburton campuses, including Continuing Education classes, will be cancelled as of 6 p.m. The campuses will also be closing, and we encourage all staff and students to begin departing the college as soon as possible.

We will continue to assess the weather overnight, and will provide an update regarding classes early tomorrow morning. We currently anticipate campuses will be open tomorrow.

Please check back as we will continue to monitor the weather and share updates on Facebook, X, Instagram, and mycampus.flemingcollege.ca. Please use extra caution when travelling to and from campus.

Ardath Finnbogason-Hill

Ardath Finnbogason-Hill that we are all creative "be-ings" and appreciates experiencing the discovery or re-discovery of hidden talents of those who participate in her creative process workshops. Messages of empowerment and inspiration can be found in her poetry, paintings, free-form fibre art, writings and storytelling. Her own creative process has been evolving over many years and has been influenced by her Icelandic roots, her active participation in women's circles, her spiritual journey, readings, dreams, relationships, and travels. Ardath's background as a nurse educator/ counsellor and her many years of facilitating creative process workshops combined with her enthusiasm creates an environment conducive to self-discovery. "We all have stories within, waiting to be written which is a gift to ourselves."
