Faculty: Anne McAllister
Anne McAllister was introduced to a dusty old treadle machine hidden away in her aunt's attic when she was ten years old, and her passion for sewing took flight. She finds inspiration everywhere - beautiful fabrics, colours and textures, changing seasons, morning light and magnificent sunsets. Anne enjoys the busy-ness of her urban condo where she knits, designs and crafts her quilts, as well as the peacefulness of her lakeside, summer studio in Haliburton. For the past 20 years, Anne has participated in many HSAD quilting and fibre art workshops and is looking forward to sharing her talents, enthusiasm and creativity with her students.
