This course is open to youth 10 to 13 years of age.
Learn a variety of performance skills that aren't just great for the stage, but awesome for life as well! This course of drama studies is designed to build character, strengthen your self-expression, and build an ensemble. Have fun exploring acting through games, exercises, voice, music, movement, and improvisation. Working individually and as part of an ensemble, you'll devise scenes, stories, and site-specific vignettes created by you. Packed with experiential learning, emotional presence, physical rigour, thoughtful exploration, and FUN, this course is great if you're curious about performing or want to have your creative voice witnessed.
Warning: There might be homework! WHAT?! Yep. You might have to memorize something overnight to use the following day. Not a ZILLION lines...but a little something.
