Watercolour on Canvas

Haliburton School of Art + Design

Enrol in Watercolour on Canvas

Course Code: ARTS1734

Please note: This course is not suitable for absolute beginners. Basic knowledge of watercolour painting is required. Explore techniques that are best suited for this surface and discover mediums that will enhance your work. Investigate drawing, composition, colour and watercolour techniques such as negative space and glazing. Instruction will guide you through surface preparation to sealing and varnishing your finished work. If you are a tight painter, this technique will loosen you up as you work in a positive and encouraging environment. Beyond the creative possibilities, this technique removes the need for heavy frames, matting and glass.

Some courses require additional textbooks and/or materials. Please visit your campus bookstore in-person or online: Peterborough Bookstore or Lindsay Bookstore.
