This course is not suitable for beginners.
Take designing hand-spun yarns beyond the basics. Raid your stash and bring a variety of your favourite fibres, tools, patterns and/or ideas to design your own unique yarns. A materials package of diverse and interesting fibres will be provided. You will learn how to purposefully spin to alter twist and grist that will lead to designing yarns with a focus on textural and simple novelty techniques. Using your stash fibres, you will design and sample a variety of yarns for specific end uses. This is a week of spinning summer camp crossed with a design your own spinning adventure.
