Enrol in Quilting Basics - Introduction to Fibre Art (Youth to Adult)

This course is open to youth of 12 years of age, as well as adults.
Explore various methods used to create fibre art pieces such as quilts, wall hangings, rugs, placemats, and pillows. Learn a variety of techniques including rotary cutting, piecing, precise sewing, the use of a design wall, manipulating value and colour, machine quilting, free motion, and finishing techniques. Creative freedom, as well as assistance in designing projects, will be available. You will be required to bring a familiar sewing machine, in good working order. Instruction is suitable for all skill levels, and beginners are most welcome.
