This course is a mandatory credit toward Fleming College's Expressive Arts Certificate. It is not a mandatory credit toward Fleming College's Visual and Creative Arts Diploma (VCAD).
Successful completion of Introduction to Expressive Arts and Expressive Arts: Exploring Relationships is recommended prior to taking this course.
It is essential to recognize the parameters of utilizing expressive arts within the bounds of one's training experience. How do we manage the scope of our professional practice and where do we find inspiration and support once we graduate? How do you set up a practice that suits your needs and those of your clients? This course will cover ethical and professional issues that may arise while using the expressive arts - best practices, insurance, workshop logistics, and the local, provincial and national affiliations that can provide standardized professional registration and professional development.
