Pottery - Throwing Large Forms

Haliburton School of Art + Design

Enrol in Pottery - Throwing Large Forms

Course Code: ARTS2116

Please note: This course is not suitable for beginners. Instruction is delivered at an intermediate to advanced level of skill. With the use of demonstrations, hands-on instruction and lots of practice, learn two basic throwing techniques: stacking and assembling. These techniques will dramatically increase the scale of what you can make on the pottery wheel, without putting too much strain on your body. There will be one bisque fire and one glaze fire accomplished during this course.

Some courses require additional textbooks and/or materials. Please visit your campus bookstore in-person or online: Peterborough Bookstore or Lindsay Bookstore.
