Please note: This course is not suitable for beginners. Painting experience is required to participate. This exciting course will develop your ability to capture the likeness of any model in any opaque paint medium. You may work in any opaque paint medium (gouache, acrylic, water-soluble oils, and traditional oils without solvents) that you are comfortable with. Starting with an understanding of composition, value studies and monochromatic paintings, you will advance to expressive paintings of the model in a full palette. Works by a variety of artists will be discussed.
