Painting - Experimental

Haliburton School of Art + Design

Enrol in Painting - Experimental

Course Code: ARTS2611

Tapping into the creative possibility of using observational drawing, this course aims to produce work in related series. Starting with mark making and your line, build out from there to incorporate materials and strategies to challenge what you are making and how you are making it. Using everything from pencil, acrylic, water media, inks, mono-printing techniques and installation-play, push to interrogate materials and messages. The point is art can be made from just about any observation, from most any material at hand, and that we will never, ever be bored or bewildered in the studio again. All skill and experience levels are welcome.
