The Ontario Spinners' Certificate Program is a six-level program developed by the Education Committee of the Ontario Handweavers and Spinners (OHS). With sufficient registration, each of the six levels will be offered in succession.
Prerequisites: Participants are required to have successfully completed ARTS475 OHS Spinners Certificate Program - Level III.
Completion of each level of study involves 8 days of instruction, followed by independent homework assignments that are completed, mailed to instructors, and evaluated throughout the year.
Course of study in Level IV: oral presentation of 50-hour projects (assigned in Level III); indigo dyeing including over-dyeing; silk spinning, reeling, blending, etc.; spinning exotic fibres including cashmere, qiviut, the camelid family, dog hair, and angora rabbit, and blends of these fibres.

Registration starts June 1st, 8:30am. There will be an approximate $110 material fee payable to the class treasurer (voted) on the first day.
