Enrol in Jewellery - Mixed Metals, Patinas & Cold Joins

Course Code: ARTS1929

Etching, patinas and cold joins are one of the strongest trends in metalworking. Cut, punch, hammer, layer, rivet, etch, patina, and texture metals using techniques that tend to be looser and more forgiving than some processes. Beginning with raw sheet metal copper, brass and sterling silver, transform these metals into beautiful and sometimes edgy jewellery. Learn about many jewellers' tools and techniques through playful experimentation and exploration. Mistakes often wind up being a wonderful journey to the unexpected. Previous experience with metals would be helpful but isn't necessary.
