Explore personal approaches to working with enamel, independently developing technical and design skills. A variety of techniques will be demonstrated, with the opportunity to focus on those of greatest personal interest. Use of opaque, transparent and opalescent colour, counter enamel, forming, wet packing, painting and drawing techniques, champleve, liquid enamels, torch and kiln firing, setting options, and experimental explorations will be discussed. The project goal is a beautifully finished pair of earrings and/or pendant. Both beginning and advanced students will be challenged to work at their level of experience and skill.
