Often thought of as the ultimate artist's tool, a sketchbook can be a place to record, a source of inspiration and a safe space in which to explore. In this week-long course you'll be doing it all. Using a notebook to record objects, events and journeys; responding to visual stimuli, words and sounds and developing ideas. You will be introduced to different ways of making visual impressions, including drawing, printmaking, collage, staining, washing, copying and transferring. You will be supported in the creation of notebook pages which reflect their subject as well as the character of their maker. Suitable for all levels of experience.
