Glassblowing Advanced Studies-Stemware & Tableware

Course Code: ARTS2674

Please Note: Due to Good Friday landing in the middle of the course, it will run from March 25 to 28 for week one, and April 1 to April 6 for week two.
Delve into the classic practice of creating hand blown glassware from goblets to plates.
In this advanced studies course, you will learn different glassblowing techniques to produce tableware. Through a step-by-step process, learn methods and stages for constructing multi-part pieces. Delving into function and shape you will accomplish different forms for cups and stems.
In addition to hand blown goblets and cups, you will make other tableware elements such as spoons, pitchers, saucers and more.
Recommended Prerequisite: Glassblowing Certificate or equivalent education.
