Fabric Etching with Devore Techniques

Devore is a stunning fabric etching technique that produces fabrics with sheer areas. The word, devore means devour in French. The process of devore involves using silk velvet. You will learn to use a special non-toxic etching liquid to draw your design on velvet. Once dry, you will remove the velvet from the silk, leaving you with an embossed and transparent piece of fabric to quilt and embellish.
