This course is an elective credit toward Fleming College's Expressive Arts Certificate. It is not an elective credit toward Fleming College's Visual and Creative Arts Diploma.
Using theories and techniques from the field of peacebuilding, investigate the concepts of peace and conflict. Learn how peacebuilding is an interdisciplinary process that helps develop positive relationships at all levels of society, from the personal to the global. Explore various causes and types of violence; styles of conflict management; and conflict transformation. You will have the opportunity to experience creative elements of peacebuilding through expressive arts such as storytelling, poetry, art, movement, and more.
