Drawing & the Maker Space

Haliburton School of Art + Design

Enrol in Drawing & the Maker Space

Course Code: ARTS2383

Instruction will combine hands-on contemporary drawing with the digital tools in the Maker's Space. Explore both traditional and alternative surfaces, marks and materials. Beginning your drawing with a concept and intent will allow you to experiment with increased confidence. From there, you will push boundaries with space and composition in direct response to scale. All of these factors will be considered in the development of your drawings. Drawings will then be taken to the Maker's Space where you will make laser engravings and/or cuttings of your designs.

Some courses require additional textbooks and/or materials. Please visit your campus bookstore in-person or online: Peterborough Bookstore or Lindsay Bookstore.
