Enrol in Canadian Firearm Safety and Hunter Safety (One-Stop Program)

Course Code: MECH083

Successful completion of this course, including one practical and two written examinations will enable you to apply for both the Hunting Safety Certification and the Firearm Possession and Acquisition License. Upon application approval, you may purchase/possess a non-restricted firearm and ammunition. Gain an understanding of basic firearm parts, care, transportation and storage of non-restricted firearms, hunting trip preparation, hunting guidelines and ethics, and rules and regulations surrounding firearms and hunting. The practical exam is scheduled Saturday evening following regular class hours. Both written exams are completed at the end of the day on Sunday. 100% attendance is mandatory for this course. Equipment is supplied.
